Application:
In the case of spring balancers, the cable force increases as the cable is extended. After being used, the load (e.g. a tool) is retracted to its original position using the spring balancer. This makes it possible to supply workstations with power wrenches or other tools from above, thus maintaining a free workspace. The tension can be regulated with ease using the knob.
